Based in Charlotte NC, Cheeks (b. 1993, Miami FL) is muralist, artist and a self described “jack of all trades” aka Cheeks of the Streets collector of techniques.

Guided and welcomed into a street artist collective at a young age, Cheeks honed his skills in spray paint and painting large-scale while teaching himself 3-d modeling and design, animation and woodworking.

His artistic practice, rooted in the ethos of street art, explores public engagement, dissent, impermanence while playing with bold visual impact and scale. Drawing inspiration from subcultures like Kanjozoku racing and street skating, he aims to challenge conventional perspectives and cultivate transformative experiences that reimagine and enrich the urban landscape.

Cheeks has been commissioned by organizations such as Talking Walls Mural Festival, ArtPop Street Gallery, Southend Arts Rail Trail, and Charlotte SHOUT art festival. His involvement in public art is deeply rooted in his desire to shape and contribute to the visual landscape of his community and beyond.
